INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

The Educational and Scientific Center for Innovative Development and Training focuses on coordinating the educational and scientific innovation activities of the departments of the Western Ukrainian National University; on the development of the university as an innovation hub aimed at accelerating innovative projects and their further implementation in the economy.

The Center contributes to the transformation of the university into a modern European innovation, production, research and education complex aimed at finding new knowledge and technologies and identifying possible tools for their practical application.

The purpose of the Center for Innovative Development and Training is to promote the innovative development of the region, united territorial communities, and local businesses; attract investment in the implementation of innovative projects through cooperation with executive authorities, local governments, non-governmental organizations, state and private enterprises, and grantors; and use innovative educational technologies in the educational process and research on regional development.

Main activities of the center:

consulting on improving performance;
outsourcing of services for organizations, institutions and enterprises;
conducting and organizing trainings, master classes, workshops, and webinars;
preparation of project proposals for grants;
monitoring of regional and industry development trends;
development of sustainable regional development projects;
identifying the main areas of smart specialization in the region.

The Innovation Development and Training Center provides services in the following areas:

support for small and medium-sized businesses (organization of entrepreneurial activities; development of business plans; consulting for small and medium-sized businesses, outsourcing of business services);
marketing (development of a marketing strategy; conducting trainings on organizing Internet marketing, service marketing, creative marketing; sales management; marketing research using neuroelectronic equipment, audit of websites and social media pages; copywriting);
personnel management (search and selection of personnel; personnel formation; personnel evaluation; personnel training; motivation and development of personnel);
training and development of personal and professional competencies (technologies for building a professional career; preparation of a resume, motivation letter, and portfolio; modern online and offline learning technologies; organization of project activities; management of project teams);
Preparation of state planning documents, passports and projects in the following areas: development of development strategies and programs for socio-economic development of the community; development of projects for innovative, sustainable and SMART development of the region (district, united territorial community, settlement); planning of socio-economic development of the region and development of programs for socio-economic development (district, united territorial community, settlement); formation of a favorable investment climate in the region (support of investment projects);

energy efficiency and energy saving (energy audit of buildings, implementation of energy efficient and environmentally friendly technologies, development of projects for the implementation of smart and grid technologies in the energy sector, energy audit, organization of energy services);
Environmental protection and waste management (environmental assessment of enterprise development strategies; development of environmental programs and environmental passports (for a district, united territorial community, or settlement); strategic environmental assessment of state planning documents and environmental impact assessment; development of sanitation schemes for settlements; development of local and regional solid waste management programs and waste management plans);
tourism (strategizing the regional development of the tourism and hospitality industries, developing local tourism development programs, creating tourism clusters, developing a network of tourist routes, developing a comprehensive tourism product, training and professional development of tourism service and travel support specialists).

The Center for Innovative Development and Training organizes and conducts trainings, master classes, and webinars aimed at personal growth and professional skills development. The training courses are conducted by certified trainers and practitioners using multimedia equipment (multiboard, interactive whiteboard, multimedia projector). Training programs are adapted and developed in accordance with the needs of the students.

Educational services are provided in online and offline forms, using innovative learning technologies (coaching, facilitation, training; metaphorical and transformational games; motivational interviewing; webinar; project-based learning; individual consultations; case studies; networking; seminars; workshops, etc.) Terms of cooperation: contractual.
