International Summer School “Technological and Economic Aspects of Climate Change Adaptation Strategy”

During August 14-27, 2023. the International Summer School “Technological and Economic Aspects of Climate Change Adaptation Strategy” was organized within the framework of the project Synergy of educational, scientific, managerial and industrial components for climate management and mitigation” 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP / CLIMAN, Erasmus+ program based at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The school’s work is aimed at raising awareness of climate change, climate management and climate change mitigation among young people, developing skills in climate management implementation, organizing  research in the field of climate management and accelerating integration into the global climate market to implement international requirements for climate regulation by implementing best European practices in the field of climate change mitigation, adaptation and minimization of climate change impacts.

The event was attended by students from Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, , KROK University, KROK University College of Business, and Western Ukrainian National University.

During the school, students attend lectures by Ukrainian and European professors working at the project’s partner universities, participate in workshops, and work in project teams to develop and present their own project on climate change prevention, mitigation, and adaptation.

The project is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Program.
