Training and opportunities:

During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following professional disciplines: Methods and tools of environmental diagnostics, Geoecology, Urban ecology, Environmental safety, Environmental economics, Geoinformation systems and technologies, Environmental regulation and standardization, Environmental management, Environmental law, Modeling and forecasting of environmental situations, Design of environmental protection facilities and measures, etc.

After completing their studies at the department, graduates can hold the following positions: Environmental Manager at an enterprise, Engineer for Technogenic and Environmental Safety, Specialist in Industrial and Environmental Safety, Environmental Auditor, Environmental Inspector, Specialist in Environmental Control, Environmental Protection Technologist, Specialist in Environmental Systems Modeling, Specialist in Environmental Management, Eco-Marketer, Environmental Logistician, Eco-Analyst, Eco-Producer, etc.

Practical experience:

The department actively cooperates with the State Environmental Inspectorate, the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources, research institutions, local communities, and farms, where students have the opportunity to gain practical experience, participate in internships, training practices, and find employment.
